Amber Alert Issued For Missing NY Boy

NEW YORK Police in New York have activated an Amber Alert in the search for a 7 month old boy who was abducted in Manhattan Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the infant Mario Danner was taken by Marina Lopez his non custodial mother during a supervised visit around 3 p.m. Tuesday. The boy was removed from his mother's care due to mental health issues. Lopez is bipolar and has had recent outbreaks of violence police said.

Lopez is described as a Hispanic female who is about 25 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 foot 6 and 130 pounds and was last seen wearing a pink T shirt and floral shorts police said.

Mario is described as Hispanic 20 inches long 25 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Lopez was last seen traveling on foot and possibly heading for the Shorefront Parkway in Rockaway N.Y. She may be driving a tan 1995 Lexus ES300 with the New York license plate GEX1377 police said.
