Kim Sears is Queen of the court at Wimbledon

ANDY Murray s other half Kim Sears had double reason to celebrate after winning the Wimbledon WAGs war.

She was queen of Centre Court wearing a green dress by Victoria Beckham who was also in the crowd.

Her hairdo was hailed a cut above Novak Djokovic s missus Jelena Ristic s barnet in a poll for website Fabriah.

And the 25 year old s lucky 1 500 Mulberry Willow holdall which she has sported at each game made sure victory was in the bag.

Seven led to win heaven

THE mystical power of the number seven was claimed last night to be behind Andy s victory.

Numerologists pointed out that he is the first British men s champion for 77 years doing it on the 7th day of the 7th month. The last time we had a Brit singles winner was Virginia Wade in 1977. Wade is also now 67 years old.

And on 7/7 in 1985 17 year old Boris Becker became the youngest men s Wimbledon winner.

Murray and Novak Djokovic were also born seven days apart in 1987. Numerologist Jackie Notman said that there is something quite magical about the number which is seen as special by cultures and religions around the world.

ANDY Murray triumphed despite temperatures in direct sunlight on Centre Court peaking at 49.8 C a blazing 121.6 F.

Meanwhile thousands of Brits flocked to the beach to enjoy the hottest day of the year so far. The mercury hit a high of 29.7 C (85.5 F) at Hurn Bournemouth.
